I give this business a big 0, no stars. Yesterday, our minivan experienced a power failure while my spouse was driving it. Fortunately, there was no accident. This morning I contacted Honest Auto at around 7 a.m and spoke with Hunter. They confirmed that they would be available today to diagnose and fixt the problem. I then arranged for my van to be towed to the location. At around 8 a.m., Hunter confirmed that they received my vehicle. He said, our guys just pulled it into the shop. We'll get to it very soon and I'll contact you to let you know what the issue. I was happy and said sounds good. Then an hour later, Hunter telephoned me to say my car was stuck in a snow bank. I said, "what? I thought you pulled it into the shop" He said, "I thought our guys did too but it was another van". He explained that the towing guy left it on a snow bank and that his guys tried to pull it out. He said that they can't work on it until its removed from the snowbank. He then said he could get to the van on Monday and said, that there was no oil in the van and there was a total oil failure. Additionally, he said the belts were mangled. I expressed my dismay. He offered to see he knows a guy that can pull it out of the snowbank for $50. I said, no. I'll have USAA to send the same guy to pull it out. I contacted the towing guy as his number was on my caller id. He sounded very surprised about the snowbank allegation. He said he would call his boss and go over there to take photos to prove they were lying. I asked him to get my van and take it to another auto shop. He advised that I contact USAA to put the order thru them. He then went back to Honest -1 Auto and picked up my van, informing them that I will use a different service. Based on the company's dishonesty, we now have to wait till Monday to get our van fixed. Hunter misled me, to believe that he was going to fix it. I was stupid to believe a company with the word "Honest" in their name was actually honest. To my detriment, I fell for their advertising tactics. Never again!!!! Sharon Hallstoos of Dubuque, Iowa
